What sets Erin apart from other horse trainers? She is a producer of horses. She breeds them herself, manages them herself, starts them herself, competes them herself; all under the guardianship of mentors in each field. Education of the whole horse is her priority for her and her students.

What makes Erin an excellent teacher? Her pursuit to gain enlightenment and get rid of frustrations in her own educational journey gives her perspective in the different struggles each person faces.

How is Erin different from other dressage trainers? She trains the horse to use it’s body in the most effective way so to bring out the best in each individual. She doesn’t focus on tricks but on functional movement. She has produced quality dressage partners from a variety of breeds. Spanish Normans, Paints, Thoroughbreds, Morgans, Arabians, Frisians, German Riding Ponies, Connemara Ponies, Saddlebreds, Andalusians, Irish Droughts, Hanoverians, KWPN, Trakehners you name it! This diversity along with her Sport-horse Breeding education gifts her with the ability to prove that her methodology brings out the utmost from the horses. Talented horses don’t become burnt out from drilling the tricks but come to life with the work they love.

Training

Erin Bell Dressage charges by the session. Keeping it simple and honest makes life easier. After each session the owner gets a text or communication of some kind letting them know the progress of each work out.

Looking For a Training Program

Erin’s extensive knowledge on equine bio-mechanics gives her the ability to cultivate specialized programs for horse’s individual needs. Through the use of classical exercises she strengthens the horse’s week points with systematic conditioning. She uses cross training to physiologically stimulate the horses work ethic. Finding alternative ways to more clearly and positively explain to the horse how they need to carry their bodies she incorporates long lining, in hand work, cavalettis, trail rides, and jumping to make her horses well rounded and confident partners.

Clinics

Have a group of people who want to learn dressage together? Erin will travel to your location for a fun filled day of dressage theory and application.

Lessons

Erin’s passion and intensity comes thorough in her teaching enthusiasm. She quickly assesses a student’s learn style and applies appropriate techniques to clearly explain training exercises and riding mechanics. She empowers her students to be able to train their own horses with the tools that dressage provides and gives homework with each session. Erin’s goal is to produce independent problem solving riders who create confident and trusting mounts.

Breeding

Looking for your next dance partner? Erin’s knowledge on biomechanics, bloodlines, DNA and her own riding goals has shaped her selection of broodmares to the highest standard. Plus selecting stallions that best enforces the soundness while enhancing the movement and ensuring the temperament to pair with her premium mares.
